I am very excited to be teaching at Bozarth Elementary this year! I began my teaching career in Sacramento, California in 1998. I moved to Las Vegas in 2006. I have taught here in the district since then. In this district I have worked at three other schools teaching fourth and fifth grades. I also taught as a STEM specialist for one year. In addition to my K-5 teaching license, I have endorsements to teach computer applications, TESOL, and GATE.
I am also a strong advocate for public education and teachers. I have lobbied for education funding and legislation in Carson City, and I serve on the Executive Board of the Clark County Education Association. I have worked locally, statewide, and nationally to improve education.
In my spare time, I like to visit our beautiful national parks with my wife or spend time with my three cats. I am a huge baseball fan—go Giants! I describe myself as a geek because I love sci-fi, comic books, and computers. And I love watching our Golden Knights!
